HOUSTON – JANUARY 23, 2023 – PickleJar, the leader in unified live entertainment technology, hosted another “Tuesday’s Tribute” event on January 17, 2023, with five talented musicians honoring country icon Randy Travis. The event took place at Live Oak in Nashville, TN with proceeds and 100% of donations to benefit The Randy Travis Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to raising awareness for viral cardiomyopathy and providing arts and music enrichment for children.

During the event, hosted by Patrick Thomas from the Big D and Bubba Show and live streamed on PickleJar+ in partnership with Cumulus Media, Randy Travis himself made a surprise appearance to show support for the artists honoring the legendary star and his music.

“We are honored to have the incredible Randy Travis attend one of our Tuesday’s Tribute events. It was a great opportunity to showcase the artists on stage while also using PickleJar’s live donation technology to raise money for an important cause, said Jeff James, PickleJar Chief Executive Officer. “A big thanks to Live Oak Nashville and our incredible team for making this night one we will never forget!”

This month’s Tuesday’s Tribute featured Thompson Square, Shawna Thompson, Dave’s Highway, Landon Wall and Timmy Brown who performed songs from Travis’ extensive award-winning catalog. Attendees were able to send donations directly to The Randy Travis Foundation during the show using PickleJar’s intelligent QR codes. In addition to donations from audience members, PickleJar committed $5,000 to be given directly to The Randy Travis Foundation during a special presentation at the end of the night.
