HOUSTON – October 22, 2021 – PickleJar, an emerging performance payment and tipping platform for artists and content creators, announces the launch of another Texas PickLoungeTM as part of an exclusive partnership with the Texas Country Music Association (TCMA) Event Center in Carthage, TX. As part of PickleJar’s on-premise entertainment activation program to support local artists and musicians, the TCMA venue will debut up-and-coming music talent in collaboration with the PickleJar app and exclusively deliver performances on the OTT digital stream of the PickleJar+ Channel. The first event will feature a performance by Jason Samford Acoustic on October 22, 2021.

“The relationship with the Texas Country Music Association is an opportunity to showcase some of the greatest talent of the Lone Star state,” says Kristian Barowsky, president of PickleJar. “Each PickLounge unlocks the potential of artists and venues to reach new audiences beyond just the pin drop. Our groundbreaking model of intelligent on-premise QR codes and live streaming help create more connections between artists, venues, and fans.”

The TCMA Event Center will continually feature “tip-worthy” artists multiple times each month in their PickLounge. PickLounge events at the venue will include in-person and livestreaming performances by the artists and provide opportunities for fans to use the PickleJarTM iOS app to send cashless gratuity tips, “notes”, song requests, shoutouts, beneficiary donations, and more to the artist, allowing fans to directly engage with the artist while they are performing on stage.

“The Texas Country Music Association is extremely excited to be teaming up with PickleJar for live streaming performances at the TCMA Event Center in Carthage, as we see it as an essential way to bring more awareness to these amazing performers,” says Linda Wilson, TCMA President. “Our members are very supportive of the live music we bring to the venue and PickleJar provides the ultimate avenue for virtual tipping and audience engagement.”

Additionally, PickleJar has partnered with other regional promoters to create PickSpots, “pop-up” performances at unique and trendy venues featuring local music in partnership with organizations dedicated to making a social impact. The goal of the PickLounge and PickSpots is to combine music, artist performances and progressive forms of entertainment, technology, and marketing to activate consumers and create a powerful social impact on both a local and national level.
